- Anti-static masterbatches are formulated for commodity plastics and all polymers that inherently have insulating properties, resulting in significant static charge accumulation from friction. This problem is especially prominent in films and fibers due to their extensive surface area relative to their volume. The build-up of static charge can attract dust on food packaging, harm circuit boards in electronic packaging, and create fire or explosion risks near combustible materials. Additionally, it leads to processing challenges such as difficulties in winding films, clumping of powders, and issues with film adhesion. Our masterbatches include anti-static agents that help alleviate these problems.
